The American bulldog is a very large and muscular dog. It has a short fine coat which is either all white to mostly white with patches that range from a light tanned colour to a dark brindle. American Bulldogs usually have fairly dark coloured eyes and there ears would come to a fold halfway, they have straight tails and usually very broad shoulders. The American Bulldog makes a very good all round working dog and can also make a very good family pet as they are mostly a docile breed with a medium energy and can be very protective of there family, they can also make extremely good guard dogs as they find this a natural behaviour and are a very powerful breed.
